I started the Rugby Thread as a method to mock the softball, basketball tennis threads. There are other places on the board for those sports, but reason and logic are not taught at certain LSC institutions.

I can take a joke and love to banter.

I also find out additional information about other sports that I am interested in as well.

More time than not I try to comment on it to show interest and learn even though the Rugby one original intent was sarcasm.

I do get the irritation of off topics threads in the heart of football season but they are harmless in February.

In the past I think the D2 staff here would delete threads over a year old.

Maybe that would be a compromise to delete off topics threads after a couple of months before football season starts?

Actually I love the west coast. I spent numerous one month deployments there in the mid 2010s and Vancouver, Washington was one of my favorite places.

I would live there in a heartbeat if it wasn't so expensive and it wasn't so far away from my parents.

I have absolutely nothing against you other than the whining about football only posts.

For all the people on both coasts yapping about disliking Texans you all are lined up by the tens of millions to move (or already have) to Texas to get away from whatever cluster you are currently in.

Before you make a conservative crack I saw it first hand in Austin every day and almost 1 out of 3 people we hired were from either coast or the northern Midwest.

Hopefully August gets here soon enough for football but in deep South Texas I am enjoying the cooler weather as long as I can.
