  • CWU Recruit Visit Backfires During Loss to Montana Tech

    https://twitter.com/CWUWildcatNtn/st...97198283866419

Yelm HS lineman Landen Barger held offers from CWU and Montana Tech... CWU invited Barger to visit for the game vs. Montana Tech... CWU lost the game... Barger just committed to Montana Tech. Welp, that recruiting visit sure did backfire! It seems that the CWU loss to Montana Tech is still having its lasting effects.

Life comes at your fast, LOL
Didn’t UTPB do something along the lines of “stealing Angelo States recruits one visit?

At least we don't have to worry about WT losing recruits to Simon Fraser.

Worse than that. ASU flew them in to San Angelo and UTPB picked them up at the airport and hauled them off to Odessa.

            I wouldn't be too concerned about losing a 6'1 260 lb guard.

That’s INSANE, like that they players and parents actually went with it. Like how did UTPB know they were flying in that day?
                This needs to be Documentary.

Gene Upshaw was 5-10, and maybe 200 lbs when he came to A&I
Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink whatever comes out?"

                    An anomaly.

I know. Absolutely amazing. He wanted to play baseball.

Agree, he's probably not that great if his other offer was NAIA. Also, if he's picking his schooling on a small college win-or-loss football game, he's not that smart. Montana Tech has elite engineering if he gets into that program, they won't have time for clowns, which this guy sounds like.

It could be the best of both worlds? He develops at Montana Tech and then transfers to Central Washington?
