21-7 UTPB. Mooring runs the last 3 yards after throwing for another 48 yards on the drive. The WT secondary looks like they practice once a week!

Falcons QB Mooring has thrown for 128 yards in the first quarter. UTPB is driving again as the first quarter ends.

WT had a great long pass play from a scrambling Gibson but on the next play he threw a pic inside the 10.

Now the stream is out for the second time. I thought that new stadium was going to fix all those problems. It's also less than 90% full - remember that promise?

Mooring has over 200 yards for the first half, and UTPB has 280 yards of offense versus WT's 178. WT's secondary has apparently been coached to tackle AFTER the catch, instead of defending against the catch.

The secondary had a chance for a pick around the 20 but the player dropped the ball. Special teams has been especially buffoonish, with players running into each other, and knocking the ball carrier down and other times calling for a fair catch on a kickoff.

WT is fortunate to be down only 14. Remember though, UTPB is just a .500 team. Imagine the showing the Buffs will make at Angelo.

The commentators just said the "WT defense held". Mooring missed an easy TD by grossly overthrowing a wide open receiver. Then he missed a short pass where the receiver was wide open. The their FG kicker missed an easy FG. All of this took over half of the 3rd quarter.

3 and out for WT.

So, this could be a rout, but Mooring is missing wide open receivers.

I have to admit, I wondered why they didn't try a pass out of 8 plays.

And not one other coach checked off on it and said you know what that's not a very good call we failed six times trying the same play. I think the program is pretty solid that's come a long ways but there's always this crazy stuff like this that's just mindless b.s.
