There are some really good choices. I’ve heard many debates on Dave’s vs Keith’s pizza. Fozzies Smokin BBQ is delicious. Bar 209 is good as well.

Haven't been there in several years, but it's a nice town (weather depending). Take in a walk around campus (weather depending) or see some of the local scenery from the car. I would not recommend parking on the lake as it's way too early for that.

Not sure what the hockey team is up to this weekend, but if you have time I'd recommend that as well if they are around.

And lastly, don't let anyone freak you out about crime rates. Bemidji is just fine.

I’m anticipating a few more angry posts from UMD fans this week

No angry posts, but it's tough to show up mentally prepared after getting beat at home the week prior. I do think UMD would have played better.

Hockey is on the road this week. The "Night We Light" parade is Friday night at 6pm. After that is fireworks over the Lake and all the Christmas lights get turned on downtown. Plenty to do downtown Friday night and Saturday before the game.

You know you would have beaten Augie!!! Thats a laugh. AU has the #1 run defense in the league. Butler-Lawson couldn't even get 100 yards rushing on the Viks in two games. AU would bottle up the Dogs only weapon Walljasper and the rout would be on.
