The actual examples and numbers etc…it will be interesting to see if more or less (or maybe the same) guys drop down from FBS or FCS in the next couple of years, as we witness more and more with the portal. The scholarship $ potentially needed to land these guys was a consideration/gamble/chance I hadn’t considered.

But I say, I say, I read this sentence as Foghorn Leghorn. Thank you for that 🙂

Forgot Canyon Baur, SDSU WR. Excellent slot WR Knee injury mid-season.

Since we are talking scholarships, does the NSIC still have a total max scholarships that an athletic department can offer? I know a few years ago, there was talk of a max that was below what the NCAA could offer at D-II if you were fully funded for all sports.
If that is still in place, that will affect whether or not a school is fully funded for football as it would pull monies from other sports.Millsy

As an example, for men's sports the NSIC allows 60 scholarships, and you give 36 for football, you are only allowed 24 for the rest of your NSIC men's sports (baseball, basketball, track, wrestling, etc.).
