Man, good thing Bergstrom passed on the Wolves for Winona, eh? I kid, but it's semi-funny

Tonight’s game was cathartic for Wolves fans. I was honestly expecting to leave at halftime, but they played really well. I know I’m not the only one that was surprised. I got to hear some of the postgame comments and it was cool to hear them talk about just making the game fun this week. I know they have been feeling the pressure, but it was fun to see the team come out and finally play well. I don’t know what the future holds, but it’s a good night to be Wolf.

Thanks for correcting me. I was told by some folks at Northern and some former players that it was Bergstrom, but maybe I'm just not remembering correctly.

Nobody on here had the nerve to pick northern to win! I picked them because Northern is typically a tough place to play at! Glad they were able to get a W, the conference is better when Northern is good just because it's honestly one of the best game day environments in the league!

Slight breeze out of the WSW of up to 53 mph this Saturday. Field is built down and that's the corner where the softball field and football stadium meet. Be interesting to see what kind of swirling wind we get. Those on the visiting side, bring something to treat the post-game wind burn.Last edited by NSU4LIFE; 10-02-2024, 08:34 PM.

If you are staying the night, Lagers downtown is where you will see a lot of alumni after the game. There is also a bar named The Zoo which is closer to campus. A couple good eating spots is Dempseys pizza. They have their own beer and I thinks it’s legit. Could walk their from the stadium. 322 downtown. It’s more of the “upscale” place in Aberdeen but I use that term loosely. BBQ twist opened less than a year ago downtown and I think the food is pretty dang good. Have quite few beers on tap but no liquor. Has a few TV’s as well.
Should be an impressive tailgate as well but it’s all behind the stadium.
Looking forward to hearing about your experience!
