Well, the Mercyhurst slump ended.

The Lakers hammered Clarion, 101-66.

Mercyhurst is up over Clarion, 54-36, at half.

It was a tight game for 16 minutes, but the Lakers turned it on the final 4 minutes to blow it open.

The Mercyhurst at Clarion game tomorrow will tip off at 1 p.m.

The men's game is actually first, followed by the women's game.

No doubt. And, the big guard (Drew Green) could play/start for any team in the conference. He's a beast at 6'5" and can play all three guard spots.

I agree. Teams will see that 1-10 (or whatever it is) ... but they may bite somebody this year.

Looks as if Seton Hill might finally be putting a few things together. They played Ship tough for most of the game Wednesday and actually led Mercyhurst at halftime today before losing by six. Certainly a better effort than you'd expect from a team with a 1-11 record.

In the Big 10, it's apparently postponed if teams don't have enough scholarship players to take the floor. Given the differing scholarship situation in D2, I imagine it's done differently in the PSAC.

Ship men's and women's games at West Chester Monday are postponed. Women have rescheduled their Jan. 24 game at Kutztown for Monday, since both teams' opponents had canceled this week. The Millersville women's game scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Monday. Ship-Millersville men's game is still on as far as I know. This is getting complicated.
