I wonder where Gannon would be if Byrd, eisendorf and kaigler didn't transfer to lemoyne. Combined 30 points per game for 12-3 team. Add in kuteiy 15 a game from a 9-3 team.

That core will most likely be in the ncaa tourney. Gannon must win the psac to get in. These players entered Reilly's doghouse where once your in you never get out. This year there are players in it as well. He is only playing six unless foul trouble. it is nice to see former players having success on other teams. Discipline is one thing humiliation is another.

They were good players. I would have taken Eisendorf in a second. What I meant is Gannon is better without them. It takes a special cat to stay on the floor and out of the dog house at Gannon. I think Reilly is a good coach but I don't know how he pulls off some of the crap he does.

Anything is possible. Tough not to run into foul trouble when you would be playing good offensive teams or physical teams. Also, playoff defense intensity goes up causing foul trouble. Sooner or later the bench will have to win a game. It just seems like a lot to ask when some might not have seen any playing Time in a month.

I knew Haysbert was going in to the dog house after the IUP game. He came in during the second half and really hurt Gannon's attempt to win the game.

I'm pretty curious how they do this week. Mercyhurst will be up for this game -- whether that matters or not we'll see. Mansfield could also be a tricky game. They are better than the record shows. I was pretty impressed with them during their visit to Indiana. I'd call Gannon a favorite tonight but with a fairly close point spread. The Lakers are a strange bunch this year. They could be real dangerous on the right night. Other nights they just seem disinterested.

I knew Haysbert was going in to the dog house after the IUP game. He came in during the second half and really hurt Gannon's attempt to win the game.

I'm pretty curious how they do this week. Mercyhurst will be up for this game -- whether that matters or not we'll see. Mansfield could also be a tricky game. They are better than the record shows. I was pretty impressed with them during their visit to Indiana. I'd call Gannon a favorite tonight but with a fairly close point spread. The Lakers are a strange bunch this year. They could be real dangerous on the right night. Other nights they just seem disinterested.

Yet another overtime win for Gannon. This GU team can put the ball in the basket. No lead is also ever safe. GU lost all of a 12-point lead in the second half, rebuilt the lead to 9 with two minutes to go, and they watch Collier of MU drain three straight three's to force the game to overtime. Gannon controlled the OT, winning 78-73.

Has a team ever played five overtime games in a six-game stretch? And WON them all? Even though the Knights blew a big lead, I felt strangely confident going into the extra session.

It's always a zany game at the MAC and it's great to get out of there with a W.
