To Mercy's credit ... it's what they do. Consider Fairmont scores 85-90 ppg all year


... Except when they play top West teams (60 in loss to Mercy and 64 in loss to IUP).

I was out of the house earlier in the day yesterday and only managed to catch the second half of NDC-VSU (in which the Trojans looked really good). But I just managed to take a look at the box score and noticed that Thurman only played one minute for NDC. What happened to him that he only played one minute? In watching the second half, I didn't realize that NDC was playing without their other first-team all-conference player (which, in and of itself, is a testament to how well Halil Parks does coming off the bench).

Most close to ESU say they played beyond expectations...Josh Williams led the team in scoring while playing with a stress fracture in his foot most of the year...Ryan Smith was a beast, who got stronger as the year went on...A bittersweet end to 2019, but what potential moving forward!!!

They COULD have won that game. Giordano crushed them at the FT line late in regulation.

It was a fun game to watch. Virginia State won't play anywhere near that pace today. Excited to watch it.
