WV State does have regionally ranked wins over Embry-Riddle which is currently #2 in the South Region and over #9 Morehouse which is #9 in the South. Fairmont does have a nice OOC win over Cal.

On the women's side, 6 of 10 in the latest RR lost in tournament play with 1or 2 more possible on Sunday. Assuming that losing on Sunday won't jeopardize their position in regional play we can count GSU, CAL U and GU in. Add Lincoln of the CIAA and 4 of 8 spots are taken. KUTZ, SHEP, IUP, SHU, WLU and BLOOM are coming from the loser's bracket. CHAS should be given some credit for reaching the MEC final, but it's certainly not guaranteed. Of those seven which four will ultimately get the remaining spots. My uneducated, wild guess is KUTZ, SHEP, WLU and CHAS in some order at #5-#8

Cal & Hurst for sure.

Ville making the final might cement their spot even if they lose.

I don't know why, but I have a funny feeling VUU is sneaking in (unless Charleston pulls the upset today and leaps up to steal the 7 spot).

That leaves one spot for the likes of: WVSU, Charleston, UPJ, Ship, and a hobbled Fairmont. This probably wouldn't be what I would do, but I would guess the committee wouldn't drop WVSU from #4 all the way to #8 on the strength of one bad (and badly timed) loss. So, I guess WVSU gets my final spot.
