The PSAC East is just not strong this season. The top four teams are decent outfits that can give anyone a problem on a given night, but they're not top regional or NCAA caliber. Shippensburg, which is far from having a banner year, has beaten both West Chester and East Stroud at home and was within a foul call or two of beating Millersville.Originally posted by Scrub View Post
Fair. But honestly, who would be next up? Millersville? Shepherd? The bottom end of that top-10 list has a zero chance of making the field (without winning the conference tourney)

Fayetteville & Union are on the same side of the CIAA bracket. So only one of them can even appear in the Championship game. The rest of the Region (especially the WCUs, ESUs, Charlestons, etc.) has to hope that a Claflin, VSU, or Bluefield doesn't make a magical run

Looks pretty obvious that Cal's bad start worked against them, but the quality wins have them easily in the regional. West Chester actually is looking good unless they lay colossal egg in the PSAC tourney.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View PostMassey D2 Ratings / Men's Basketball

In truly uniquely weird CIAA fashion, Fayetteville State and Blue State are playing in the championship after "trading coaches" after last season. During the off-season Fayetteville State fired/didn't retain their HC, went and hired Blue States coach, and then Blue State hired Fayetteville States ex coach.

Hard to make that kind of thing up.
