Makes sense Waseca has always been a baseball/Tennis/Track town that occasionally has a solid year in football. I can remember one spectacular season of basketball for them, when they had the OT thriller to make state.

We Marshall folk do not speak of that game....though we have Nick Dufault to remind us about it.

The brother was Marshall Bjorklund who was an absolute stud for the Bison. He was the player of the game when they beat Notre Dame. His sister Tera played at Colorado and in the WNBA. Jenny only played one year at MSU and rarely got in.

We need some more scoring underneath. Ziegler is really tough but when she isn't in there we don't seem to get much done inside.

I'm hoping Drost at 6'1" can develop into a scoring and rebounding force. Not much depth it seems at the 4 and 5 position.

Mavs lose to Pitt State women tonight 84-60. Lots of work and improvement needed if they are going to even go 500 in the conference this year, if that good.
