Well that isn't true. Regional in Winona in 2007 we had 12 of us in our group alone and had to stand on the floor between as 12 year old kids section and the Courtside seat fans. They just never stopped letting people in. Really, really fun atmosphere though, miss those days.

IMO, the question will be, if the regional is hosted in Edmond, how many folks from the great white north will travel to Oklahoma? The trip to the 'Ville is a pretty easy drive for many. The NW folks historically also turned out in droves which made getting a ticket difficult. Can the same be said for UCO?
Assuming things continue as it currently looks in nsic, I believe that the only fans that would travel would be the northern state fans. But I’m not sure how large that group would even be if the trip were to Edmond, for example. I don’t believe there would be a significant number of fans that will travel will the other teams at the top of nsic.

Nsic teams will try and help you to prevent such a dilemma ;)

Ok, so 2 years in a row at Mankato. I know 13-14 is when NW and UCM met at Mankato for the Regional Championship. We lost Starzl early to an achilles and lost in OT before you all went on to win the national championship. I was one of the approximately 75 total fans in attendance and then drove back home that night through a snow storm.

In the 10 years since the Regions changed, no Regional has taken place farther south than Maryville.

Edit: It was at least 2013 since it's been hosted anywhere but one of those locations. NW didn't make tourney that year so not sure on location that year. The year before we were in a different regional and went down to Midwestern State in Texas.
