Truman state lost at Kentucky Wesleyan. We have always played Kentucky state in every sport possible. Kentucky state is down this season. Oakland city should leave the NCAA, unless they can and will join a conference. I did not feel that way previously.

Every team on the upper level of any d2 program will schedule lesser teams. They have to in order to fill their schedule with the home games they need.

It will be interesting to see if the sportscenter can be spiffed up a bit and host the small college basketball Hall of Fame classic in the near future. That was mentioned on the radio during an interview for one of Wesleyan's games. The statement was made by the fill in announcer for Joel, and the tournament director did not rule that out.

Would be good to see. It won't be going back to Evansville after the attendance flop this year. The KWC AD said the same thing on WBIO on the afternoon show on day, he's looking to get the small college classic in the sports center. I think it will be USI, KWC, Bellarmine, and likely a team like West Liberty or LMU. Four teams will work better than the way it was done in Evansville. They have to drop the ticket prices from where they were this year in Evansville or no one will show up regardless of where it is held. I think Owensboro would embrace the classic and do a great job.

I don't see how Oakland City continues to be a NCAA team and a member of the Christian Collegiate thing at the same time. They need to choose one organization and play in that one.

Most schools who belong to the NCCAA view it as a secondary affiliation (secondary to NCAA or NAIA). They go to the NCCAA post-season events when they don't make NCAA or NAIA playoffs. Think of it as NIT-like post season tournaments in all sports. However, a few schools like OCU view it as a big deal.

I am watching this South Carolina game against Memphis. I will never forget the first season that Frank Martin came to SC. Todd Lee knew him and Wesleyan played them there and should have beat the gamecocks. Wesleyan lost by ten points, but the second half was called differently than the first half.

That team was my favorite under Lee.

The Panthers should be in bed in Michigan. Massey has kwc ranked at 25. Massey is giving the four point win to Wesleyan.

We'll see. Defense will be something that tech will need to focus on.

I think this is the game where Harris will show us his full game. He is a complete player and his teammates need to be ready to run with him and receive his passes. My guess is that they play on ice. I never liked playing on ice. Pro floors are okay but college not so much.

Harris ended up with 0 points and 4 fouls so your prediction was a little off LOL. But, Panthers win by 2. I remember Kyle Monroe as a freshman last year in our Thanksgiving tourney and was really wowed by his game...he torched us for 29 points, but Tech just doesn't have enough supporting cast for him. They literally only had 5 guys score in the game, and the 5th guy didn't get a point until there was less than 10 to play in the game.

We needed this kind of game heading into conference season. This is the kind of game that will make us tougher. Tech doesn't have a great record, but all the way up on their home court they're no slouch. Great job, Panthers, now let's start 2017 right!

Good win for KWC. This win plus the win over Truman State should ensure KWC gets a at-large berth to the NCAA just in case they don't win the GMAC Tournament. Now I think KWC will win the GMAC Tournament and I think they will run the table the rest of the season, but just in case they have good wins against MTU and Truman. Now I'm wondering how the regional people will place KWC in the first rankings next month. They should be right behind USI. Almost beat them in Evansville.

Now watching Bellarmine play at Lincoln Memorial. LMU's video feed is by far the best I've seen for a D2 game. Super high quality, with play by play.

My basketball knowledge front and center.... I knew Jordan would miss at lease one of those last two free throws. I knew after he hit both that MT would get a good shot while running out the clock... after MT threw it away I knew Bosley would take the last shot after Stanford hit the shot I knew KW fan would have their heart broken when MT hit a last second shot.

I am worried that we seem to always make good players look great when we play them. Threes just rain down with out any Wesleyan player near the shooter.
