So in comparison to MAC schools it is bigger than: Northern Illinois, Ball State, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Akron, Bowling Green, Miami of Ohio, and Toledo. Only Ohio University, Buffalo, and Kent State are bigger. There is a reason that school wins the Learfield Cup almost every year. It is a D1 sized school that has no business in D2. If you ever have the opportunity to see their campus, you would think you are at a MAC school. Private schools certainly don't have the money or resources to compete with it year in and year out. Only a handful of public D2 universities can either (West Texas, Minnesota State for example but not a lot of other ones).
