USI gets it done with Watson! Where is Silky Disturbed Stan Gerard tonight! C'mon Gerard get on this board and tell us that Watson is so bad after he out coached Davenport tonight with the Elite 8 on the line. Great season by USI and a national championship next week! I'm driving back from Minnesota to root on this USI team! I was wrong about Watson and his staff and admit it. USI should give Watson a new 5 year contract and what a ride this season!

This could go down as the greatest season in USI history. Watson about to pass Pearl as the all time winning coach in USI history and he can do it at the Elite 8 next week in Evansville, what a place to do it! Great teamwork and coaching, Watson just gave Davenport a lesson on handling late game situations tonight in big game.

He managed the bench extremely well in the second half to keep Norman and Little from picking up a 4th too early. This team has to play only 6 and no more or it kills us.

Let's give credit where credit is due. STEIN is the reason we pulled this off. His on-court leadership in making calls and keeping composure is 100% why we won tonight.
Unbelievable finish to a regional, knocking off the host on a buzzer beater and then taking down the anticipated champion.

Time to celebrate, and then time to get to work again, represent us well in front of our home crowd.

Alex: How does USI fare in the ratings? You always have that power system. Maybe Silky Disturbed Stan Gerard can take time off from selling peanuts in Tennessee to come root for USI at the Elite 8. You will not be doing radio Gerard but you and Coach Herdes can sit in the stands and root for USI!
