Let's give credit where credit is due. STEIN is the reason we pulled this off. His on-court leadership in making calls and keeping composure is 100% why we won tonight.
Unbelievable finish to a regional, knocking off the host on a buzzer beater and then taking down the anticipated champion.

Time to celebrate, and then time to get to work again, represent us well in front of our home crowd.

This. Stein was great and Watson was at his best in a huge game for the region title on the line. I can see Watson getting a new 5 or 6 year contract by the end of the week, very deserved and great to see him bring home the region title to Evansville.

USI played well, but I wouldn't go so far as to say "slapped around Davenport and showed everyone who the real boss is." (the history speaks for itself). That hot take doesn't take away from USI playing to their strengths and pushing Bellarmine away from their own, kudos on that. I am interested to see how this streaking USI team fares in the Elite 8
