You are correct, the GMAC is starting to look much better this year, largely in part to the GLIAC schools that have joined you.
I don't see why we would stop playing you guys just because we lost by single digits to a good Hillsdale team on the road while missing a key part of our offense.

The first game of the season for Alderson-Broaddus was a winner, 71-58 over Wayne State in Detroit. Go Battlers!

I was saying look at all the wins for the G-MAC this weekend. Both men's and women's team played very well. Many of the wins came against GLVC teams. Some loses but most games competitive.

A very bright future indeed for the G-MAC.

GLVC became complacent years go. Commissioner has been a disaster. He is the RGOTGLVC.

All over the Midwest G-MAC teams welcome the GLVC I bet tonight will be the last time they schedule us.

....and then on Saturday and Sunday the GMAC went 1-5 vs the GLVC.

The GLVC went 5-3 this weekend against G-MAC men's teams. This record was against four G-MAC teams rated 3rd, 7th, 9th and tied for 10th in the pre-season coaches poll. Maryville was rated 1st in their division in the GLVC pre-season poll, Truman State was rated 2nd in their division (4 votes behind Drury) and you had Southern Indiana and Illinois-Springfield. Hillsdale was the highest rated G-MAC team coming in.

And since someone brought up women's basketball, the GLVC went 3-5 against G-MAC women's teams. The G-MAC teams that participated here were rated 2,4,6 and 11 in the pre-season poll.

I was just giving props to a very young Drury Women's Basketball team. 8 of 11 are underclassmen.

If you count Friday, yes. What I said was Saturday and Sunday, which is after your KWC friend popped off about the GLVC not wanting to play the GMAC any longer. Either way, it's a losing record and his statement was foolish.

Findlay is likely a top 10 team, and Hillsdale has long been a solid prorgam. It remains to be seen what the rest of the GMAC holds.

It remains to be seen on a lot of things. The league got stronger by going after some quality athletic programs. We tried the NAIA expansion route and it was shot down. Our league leadership didn't crumble but instead chose a stronger path after one door being closed by the NCAA. The league got stronger which is the objective. Posters can say this-that-and-the other, but the league expanded and made itself much better. The GLVC went 12-12 in men's in-region play this weekend. The G-MAC went 5-11 in men's in-region play.

One thing we know for certain is that a good amount of posters on this board will be ate up with taking pot shots at a head coach that has gone 589-117 in all of his years as a head coach.
