BTW - I'd love to see the tournament expanded to include more teams (especially if the conference expands again). G-MAC takes 8 out of 13. MEC takes 10 out of 12. I think 10 sounds good.

8 makes for a nice even bracket with no byes but you could certainly do a first round bye for the top 2 seeds and expand the pool to 10 easily enough.

Mild upset. Teams are really close in the G-MAC and every game could be competitive this week.

KWC ends the first half with a 14-2 run to close within 20 of Findlay at the half. Ugh.

3 scholarship players gone before the season even started. Top 3 scorers on the season missing for this game - Harris with a broken foot, Dzierzawski with a severe illness of a family member and Hatton out because of 2 techs last game. Playing with 8 players total...3 scholarship players...so given the circumstances it could be worse.

I believe the coaching search is going to generate some much needed excitement in the KWC program over the next few weeks. For now, if we can just make this final score somewhat respectable we should be happy.

Yes. The G-MAC has really turned into a nice conference - basketball-wise and as an all-sports conference.

CU didn't make the conference tournament this year. And, while that sucks for us, its a sign of conference strengthening that a team that went 5-2 out of conference (including a win against Lake Superior St.) didn't make the tournament.

I suspect if Bain was able to finish out the season you guys probably would have been in (and we probably would have been out).

Not sure I've ever seen a team play so tired. This means the GMAC will have three teams in the NCAA Midwest Regional.
