      Seriously?

Even looking at Rod's signature achievement, winning the GLVC (which is the ONLY thing he's ever won at USI), you have to go back further than the last time Drury won it. Drury won it in 2015 - USI hasn't won it since 2014.

      Yep, long gone......

I know you are an intelligent guy. Your bias towards your program is clouding any clear judgement. Based on the last two years can you honestly say your program is on solid footing? Any answer other than no is incorrect. Lol!

And here is classic Ricky Jr. Brings up 1 person but leaves out Lawrence Thomas. Thomas played 4 years, improved every year and ended up being a darn good player. Rivera will be even better.

The last two years USI is 1-1 against Drury.

Wasn't that good. Didn't accomplish much. Many more. like all those Mullins duds.

While we got that Cobe Penny fellow, we missed out on Carter Hendricksen, a forward at Lexington Christian -- he committed to North Florida, which allegedly is a Division I program.

And your judgement isn't clouded Mandi? Your judgement is waaaay off if you think our program is on solid footing. Season tickets, way down...VC way down thank you Wod!

I thought the video on Cobe Penny was especially impressive. Looks like Whitehead 2.0., but probably a better outside shooter.

Must be the Russians...no way that anyone could actually be against Watson, I mean look at what he's done for the USI program...very similar to what Davenport has done with Bellarmine...pretty close over the same time period right? :)

The beast grows as it is fed. Even Watson himself would admit Hesser is a better coach.

Garrett Tipton of Columbus Bishop Hartley commits to Bellarmine. He was the best player that I saw at the two ABU elite camps that includes kids that have already committed to the Fairmont States, etc. High basketball IQ, great skill set and excellent athletic ability. It looks he chose Bellarmine over the likes of Findlay and West Lib among many others.

                              Cool. Thanks for the scoop!

And thank you for this excellent Battler Beat write-up back in June:
                              http://battlerbeat.blogspot.com/2017...tt-tipton.html

For the BU guys here, looks like Tipton is a 6'4" Class of 2018 wing out of the Columbus in Ohio. He's apparently a solid football player, so I'm guessing he won't be afraid to mix it up physically.

I see that Justin Betz is listed on this year's roster. He had been quoted as saying that he would red shirt the first year. I presume if he is on the roster, he is not red shirting. I don't think Scotty ever said he would be redshirting and, except for medical redshirts, I don't think Scotty uses red shirts. Betz had an impressive high school career, leading a very good Providence team in all major stats. He also was the centerfielder for the state championship baseball team, which has to mean he is very good overall athlete. The team has an awful lot of talented guards, with more coming in next year, it is going to be tough to get playing time.
