Scotty's making a living in Watson's backyard. Guess this one wasn't too concerned about playing in a new arena.

Oh, the excuse will be that we are fine at the guard position. Scotty gets another good recruit out of Evansville!

Do you honestly think this kid is better than Rivera? If so you might be the only one. This
kid is a good player but would be sitting behind Rivera for 3 years. Lol!

I would argue raw talent and developed talent is different, and Scotty will certainly do better than Watson would with the latter

After Scotty gets done with him he'll be better.

Rivera sure as he** doesn't have the athleticism and talent that Taylor had...and Troutman was just an average athlete for a D2 guard. How'd those two turn out after a couple years with their respective coaches?

As a junior Penn and rivera were about the same. Penn much better scorer not as good a play maker. but as a senior on a better team we will see just how much better he can be.

How many years did Watson have Taylor vs Scotty having Troutman? I rest my case. And Taylor is making money playing basketball so I guess things worked out ok for him.

Look Penn is a nice player. But he wasn't a need on this team and what we expect to sign next year will make that very clear.

Yeah, I was asking how it worked out for each team, but it is humorous to hear you say it "worked out ok" after you basically blamed Watson's flop last year completely on Taylor. Watson had Taylor 2 years....and still couldn't get him to play when it counted. If Scotty had had him the same amount of time he'd have either played how Scotty wanted him to when it mattered or he would've been on the bench.

On the flip side had he played for Hesser he would have walked out the door in disgust. Lol!

He might have, but only if he was too soft to help the team win in crunch time (which in Taylor's case seems like a pretty good possibility). Scotty has had several walk out the door as well....and in almost every case the team was better for it. Sometimes it's better to have the ones who aren't tough enough to help you win weed themselves out. The reason that doesn't happen on Rod's teams is because he's soft.

BTW, Hesser's record of success is a lot better than Rod's.

Penn will be the better college player when it is all said and done!

Was being the key word. The glory days of Drury are long gone.

Shocking you would think that! Being that you can't stomach one positive comment about the program, your feedback is nothing but hot, angry blubber. Lol!
