That was a typo on my end. They have four:

    Sac State
    Cal Poly
    UC Davis
    San Diego

Yeah, that's what I think too. It's unfortunate for the program as Hawaii doesn't have an abundance of large football stadiums, but I think they'll manage just fine.

As I understand it, it was getting way too costly to maintain it. I'm sure COVID made that worse with no game revenue coming in, if that's a factor.

That's too bad, I was looking forward to watching that game.

Remember, no one lost a year of eligibility this year in fall and winter sports. I think that is also why they gave the waver to all D1 transfers to play this year in college basketball. I don't expect all seniors to leave, but some will come back for that last year of eligibility,

They should do what SMSU does and keep a spare football stadium on hand - just in case.

I know this thread is mainly bad news about cancelations of sporting events, but how about the opposite for a change? On Boxing Day (December 26th) Virginia and Gonzaga are now set to play in Fort Worth, Texas after both programs lost 4 games to their programs pausing. We may start seeing other good match ups like this for other top teams that have had to pause like #2 Baylor.
