Okay., the lights then. It also shows how much different the top BCS schools are different than the majority of NCAA football programs. When the media talks about college football, the changes they want would likely hurt all but the very top programs at the BCS level only.

Personally, I want the top programs to be more like D2 schools, and for all the crazy stuff like the SEC and Pac-12 and such to move to an NFL minor league.

Agreed, NFL needs a true minor league and D1-FBS football shouldn't be it. NBA has one, NHL has a few, and MLB has several. It would also have players ready to be called up for injuries that have been playing instead just like in the other 3 sports instead of practice squad players.

Virginia-Lynchburg will play ten road games, seven of them against FCS schools. They are a NCCAA team and are ineligible to belong to the NCAA or the NAIA. How does a team like this get on an FCS schedule?

Looks like a lot of schools are winning the homecoming game this season.

Crazy. Do they count as actual games or is this basically a scrimmage game just for the home gate revenue?
                Go GSC and Roar LIONS!!

I read that they will actually count. They, Trinity Bible of Ellendale, ND and The Apprentice School of Newport News all qualify. Trinity Bible is one of the two teams that Northwestern of St Paul defeated in the same day back in 2005- the other was Macalester. Trinity also lost 103-0 to Rockford back in 2003.

                  1. NCAA members
                  2. Schools that are members of 6 regional academic accrediting bodies
                  3. Membership in Universities Canada (academic), U Sports (athletic), or CCAA (athletic) in Canada
                  4. NAIA members
                  5. NCCAA members

It reminds me of looking at the schedule of Big Ten teams back in 1898 when they were playing against high schools.

As a recognized win. If you play someone on their list that doesn't meet the requirements........ well, here it is.
