But you can't hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, Greg - isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!

I don't think this one has been mentioned. This just finished Fall semester was the first one under the merger of Jessup University in Rocklin, CA and Multnomah University in Portland, OR. Jessup kept their name while Multnomah is now known as the Multnomah campus of Jessup University. Both offer NAIA sports (but no football) and are seperate in that regard. The Jessup Warriors are in the PacWest Conference and the Multnomah Lions are in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
The California Tribal College Lady Eagles are in their inaugural season of Women's Basketball. They're playing a schedule made up of NAIA, D2 and D3 teams.

Jessup Multnomah
Jessup is actually D2, not NAIA, as they recently completed their transition to D2 (I think) at the start of this season.
Yes, Jessup began D2 and PWC competition in 2024-25, Year 2 of their reclassification. The 2023-24 year was the last in NAIA. Unless they get a waiver like Westmont College, they would become full members in 2026.
California Tribal College is partnered with Sacramento State University. That's great. The first seasonLady Eagles are off to a hot start, 8-4 so far. 🏀
Wazzou has hired South Dakota State Coach Jimmy Rogers. As a longtime Jackrabbits fan I'm bummed, but you can't blame a guy for expanding his horizon$.

Bit of a somber day in Brookings. Reminds me of when Wisconsin hired Mike Hastings. I'm hearing former players are desperately trying to get the current guys to buy-in to the program and not transfer.
Less surprising but Gronowski also transferred. He had a bit of a rough year for the Jacks and will likely need a standout season at FBS to have any NFL hopes. Maybe another championship/POY kept him home, but even then I think he was pretty much a lock for departure.
The thing about the Rogers hire that gets me is that he was supposed to be the heir to the Stig empire - he was practically made for that role, and I believe that's a big reason why he got hired. I'm not super close to the program/rest of the fanbase but it felt like a huge gut punch. That being said, I really can't blame him for moving up. And he did bring the school a championship.
Have to imagine he had to hear constantly about how DeBoer went from neighboring Sioux Falls to Alabama in a relatively short period of time too.

I wasn't aware this school existed - it's an interesting situation, but one that's being reported as a bit of a letdown in the initial go around.
Hopefully they can pull it off. I studied indigenous history while at Minnesota State and there was a section on tribal colleges - and they serve an important purpose, often giving opportunities to young adults who otherwise wouldn't get them. So I'm rootin' for them.

Sorry to hear that they suspended athletics, but it's great that you work for them. I have a friend who worked at a tribal school in Arizona and that's how I got interested. Keep up the great work!
