My wife is from East Lansing MI and received her undergraduate degree from Southeastern University in Lakeland FL. They didn't have a football team in the early 90's but they now are D3. I have a coworker here in OKC that told me his son was going to a private college in FL. I asked and he said Southeastern in Lakeland Fl. We both were flabbergasted at the coincidence. My wife and I also saw a southeastern hat on a bus in Eureka Springs, AR. I received my undergraduate and graduate degree from UCO while my wife received her graduate degree from there. We now live in Edmond and follow all UCO athletics. GO BRONCHOS!!!

Winningest in number of victories but I think not the winningest percentage……GVSU holds that record I think. But the Gorillas are one of the elite D2 programs in the country and September 13 will certainly be a show down!Originally posted by LakerDad View Post
That's fantastic. Can't wait for the trip to see the Gorillas on 9/13!https://www.d2football.com/images/forumextras/2026supporter.png[/IMG]

Not really out of place someone who works in my office has a VSU alumni sticker on their car. I keep trying to catch them to give them a "Go Blazers."Originally posted by laker View PostWhen you go somewhere and see someone wearing D2 school apparel that is out of place- not at a game where they are playing or on their campus.
Yesterday I was at Pete's Grill in Hector MN. A young lady was wearing a Central Washington Wildcats sweatshirt. I asked her what the connection was. She said that she bought it for a dollar in a thrift store in Bozeman. She has just graduated from Ridgewater where I played football in junior college.Go Blazers, Braves , Falcons, Hawks and Jackets!

I was at the Smithsonian Postal Museum (a hidden gem) yesterday in Washington DC. I see a guy in our tour group in a brand new St. Cloud State shirt and hat. I go up to him and say "You must be a D2 fan, huh?" He looks at me blankly and it is clear he does not know any English. lol

He is probably a member of the SCSU men's soccer team. I was at one of their games- about 70 people there- the roster names and home addresses showed quite a few foreigners.Originally posted by LakerDad View PostI was at the Smithsonian Postal Museum (a hidden gem) yesterday in Washington DC.
