Here's how I see it as of today:

I would assume Western Colo will continue to climb with (expected) wins. CWU made huge strides with its win over UTPB. I still feel like CWU might get "penalized" for one less D2 game than everyone else. I feel CWU has two more difficult games - Angelo State and Kingsville.

Harding and Ferris St still look freaking crazy unbeatable.

A 3 bid CIAA and a 4 bid SIAC sure would be a sight to see

A 3 bid CIAA might cause the PSAC board to implode.

And now that the GAC and GLIAC are in different regions, we could finally get that Harding vs Ferris State "dream match" in the championship game in McKinney this December.

Other than the "usual suspects" from the IUP fanbase, I'd say that would be a fair call since there really isn't anyone else in the PSAC other than Kutztown and IUP being worthy of a playoff bid.

Cal has imploded with back-to-back "ugly" losses to Seton Hill and Edinboro, Slippery Rock hasn't exactly been their dominant selves (compared to prior seasons) and East Stroudsburg's saddled with SOS anchors in the PSAC East where only Kutztown, ESU and 3-3 West Chester are at or above .500 (plus winless Pace, 1-5 Gannon ... and a season opening loss to 3-3 Edinboro, which doesn't look as bad now, actually).

Edinboro has probably caused more havoc in the PSAC overall than any other team in the league this season with regards to the playoff picture... go figure.

It would be pretty cool for Northwood to make the playoffs after being DOA for the better part of 20 years

With automatic bids now for conference champs does this mean those schools will be automatically the first 4 seeds of the regions?
With the last 4 being unseeded?

or is the bracket going to be solely determined by a 1-8 seeeing?

I don’t believe conference champs are guaranteed a home slot. Just a spot.

They MUST win this weekend at Hillsdale. That isn't easy. After that, they need to beat Tiffin and Findlay at home. Both are doable. Definitely a shot if they win out for sure!

For Northwood to beat Hillsdale, Tiffin and Findlay...that's asking for miracles. Not impossible, but not probable.

Harding's resume and stats are impressive. Their competition is not. Massey has their schedule rated #121 out of 161
