I think that's the nature of the PSAC. Even with the talent disparity, even the mediocre teams can stay in games or have a shot at an upset. Its why its rare for a team to win the PSAC outright while undefeated.

I can see that ...

IUP's most heated game has become St. Thugs.

Not because St. Thugs is good but just because they are a scumbag program.

On the field ... I sense the IUP players get more up for Cal but the crowd gets more amped up for SRU.

I can agree with that Cal had their own episode with Gannon 3 years ago that resulted in benches clearing and fans throwing bottles on the field haha

It might be its toughest game but I don't think its the biggest game. I always loathed IUP the most as a student and geography makes Gannon/Mercyhurst natural rivals but when I got to know Edinboro coaches and former players I was surprised to learn the the program considers Slippery Rock to be the biggest rival.

That's the shady head ball coach at St. Thugs. Their goal is to be tough guy wannabes and finish 5-6 yearly. He's lucky he has a job.

IUP / Cal a respected rivalry. IUP/SRU Hated rivalry. IUP/Gannon a nuisance game, as IUP thinks Gannon is a joke of a program....just sayin.

SRU always preached how high and mighty it was. They did a fantastic job of protecting the program during thr Dr. Evil era.
