Off topic but I actually like Carnegie Mellon's field.
agreed, I used to work out there a bit, stadium has a great feel to it. I've always planned on attending a game there but haven't made it yet, probably has a pretty cool gameday atmosphere.

I played a game at CMU back when it had the old 'astro turf' ... Central Catholic used it as its home field for many years. It made a tennis court feel soft.
Way more in stands for sure those numbers are a joke
I tend to agree -- for the most part.
Remember those are averages. Each of those years has had some real empty games toward the end. The 2015 season saw the whopping 601 announced attendance against Cheyney ... and it was probably more like 201. The Gannon game drew bad last year.
Last year was hard to gauge due to the rent-a-bleachers on the other side. It crammed everybody on the home side so it made it appear more crowded.
Keep in mind, too, only about 2/3 of the crowd actually pays for their tickets there, too. The rest just wander in through the 7 entrances of the Miller Prison Compound.
I think you could safely add 30% to those numbers and it would be more accurate.
But, that's what IUP announced so that's all we can go by.
Via photos from today's scrimmage on Twitter, IUP is sporting "CK" and "2" stickers on their helmets honoring former coach Chuck Klausing and former quarterback Rich Ingold. Klausing died in February after coaching Indiana from 1964-69, going 47-10. Ingold died suddenly at age 53 in February and was the 1985 PSAC player of the year.
Watched entire scrimmage today. Offense hitting on all cylinders. Brown, Kilgore, D. Harris dud not dress. Lenny and RB group unreal. Back up QB Davis 2 home run balls to Kelly and Williamson. Plenty of receivers McNeil and Rogers a cut above. Davis will be a Star in this league Mark it down. Defense best players on field Lloyd an Tillman. The later a Star in the making looks mammoth out there. Power and speed unreal. Corners both strong. Frosh DL Fisher a baller and Schockly real active. DL in good shape. Other frosh DL Mayr also looks good. Specialists solid.

Harris dressed and played, just wasn't on the field much which has been the story of his career here. I wasn't as impressed as you were with either side of the ball. Bullock and Evans didn't play much, probably by design, saw Evans in the slot a few times and both of them in the backfield at the same time at least once. It was nice to see Temple back and he ran well. Thought Lenny looked just OK throwing the ball but moved like the Lenny pre-injury. #10 looks like he might be the real deal but he hasn't cracked a book yet so I will hold out my judgement on him. Kelly did some nice things but DB's left guys run free several times for long TDs and catches. Hopefully they get the communication issues fixed quick. Didn't see Amendola or Easterling on the field much if at all. What I liked most about the D on the day was the pass rush, DL and LBs were getting after it, that can cover for a lot of miscommunication mistakes by the DBs until they get it figured out. Depth could be a problem, they will have to have some young guys step up. Still might be some roster moves to be made rumor has it.
