This is typically the transfer season for D1 cast-aways. Any names surfacing?
Probably someday your grandkids will ask you what a handshake was?

    • Saw in the Twitter world Duane Brown had a 4.0 GPA. Good for him.

      • Hopefully the rest of the players did well. Now I am waiting to see if the Penn St kid will join the team.

          Wow! Great for him!

He's probably bragging how his GPA matches his forty time. LOL.

            Tort had 10 with 4.0 GPA's and 36 over 3.2 GPA.

It seems like a major culture change from the debacle of his second season when they lost 6 or 7 to academics over the summer.

            • The IUP nursing student who went on the incredibly vulgar, racist Twitter tirade is now getting media attention.

The amount of work that makes for IUP's Public Relations office is stunning.

I don't know how they can let her back on campus.

And she’s training to help people. That’s scary.

                      • She'll most likely get booted from the nursing program. State licensure requires faculty to sign off on character.

If they don't expell her she might want to hire some body guards.

Unless she threatened violence they can't do anything as a state school without a lawsuit or two. It's the downside of free speech. In the past I've told students off the record when they've posted prejudiced crap that its going to get really uncomfortable so they should consider transferring.

Sadly, as informed as a lot of students are, many potentially productive young people are totally throwing away opportunities because they don't seem to grasp how much damage a presence on social media can do their careers. IT NEVER GOES AWAY !!

                              • So this is a 'she', it's not the 'he' who did something like this last year? If so, does 2 make it a trend?
