I absolutely feel like IUP would've made the playoffs if they had beaten Edinboro.

That's a fact. However, what his critics say is that his W/L record is "specious." Debate the word meaning. Go ahead,.

The thing is, obviously its not the all conference guys that make the difference for the TEAMS success - when IUP needed a first down, Dauberman couldn't do it on his own. The real question is how you develop those guys that aren't all conference from their freshman year. Those guys would be good anywhere. Development, in the PSAC means making your other players as good as they can be, so you have a TEAM pulling together when you need a stop or a first down to win the game. Clements is really good at that, so was Danny Hale.
All good points, but I am just trying to figure out the definition of transfer, Dauberman was another player Bloom tried to recruit. It doesn't seem unusual for players to contact coaches in the transfer process.

Excellent points ironmaniup ! I believe a lot of the problem is IUP constant inability to put their team in the best position for success in those key moments, and that comes from play-calling. IUP had 17 2021 All PSAC West players along with other players that were previously selected to All PSAC West, All Conference or Don Hansen All American teams , and they could not dial up successful plays for such an all-star cast? The proof is in the pudding, IUP has talent. But someone, or a few, is unable to consistently place these "stars" in the right position when it REALLY counted . And it is very disappointing to constantly hear the staff pointing at players as the culprit of their failures without taking any blame.

Those guys I listed were all recruited by Coach Torts Staff.
There are your mistakes. End of story.

I stated that he transferred from Bloomsburg. You can transfer from a school without playing. There you making another mistake.
