Lincoln at Lock Haven - Lincoln did win a game last year! We'll find out if it's any sort of upward trend quick.
Slippery Rock (-17) at Wayne State - I like Slippery Rock to win this but that is a big road line for Week 1 against a team that was better than their record last year.
Gannon at Southern Connecticut State - Gannon opens against SCSU yet again. Last year was their first loss in the series, I'd be surprised by a repeat.
Lake Erie College at Mercyhurst (-24.5) - Lake Erie would probably get blown out by Seton Hill.
Millersville at Pace - The real question is if Millersville keeps it competitive.
California (-21.5) at Saint Anselm - Good game for Cal's reserves to get in a half of game time.
Bentley at West Chester (-17.5) - Rams probably clear this spread by halftime.
Clarion at Shippensburg - Could be close in the first half but Ship will pull away.
Stonehill at Bloomsburg - If Bloom is going to keep its winning season streak alive, it can't drop this one.
East Stroudsburg (+21.5) at Wagner - The only way ESU covers this spread is if they've somehow learned how to play good defense.
Edinboro (+35.5) at Grand Valley State - If GVSU pulls their starters, I can see Boro grabbing a garbage time touchdown. That line is huge.

2-Point games

Ohio Dominican at Shepherd - ODU just missed the playoffs again last year. I have to imagine they're on a mission.
New Haven at IUP - If IUP loses this, the postgame meltdown on this board will be glorious.
Assumption at Kutztown - I see this one going down to the wire.

Gannon at Southern Connecticut State -- The #LIT-AF hit squad drops the boom ... and gets some revenge for embarrassing home loss in last year's opener

Lake Erie College at Mercyhurst (-24.5) - Erie Cathedral Prep would have been a bigger test for the Lake Show

Millersville at Pace -- Mauraders have lost two straight to mighty Pace. After this one, Millersville's next three weeks: IUP, SRU, West Chester. S.O.S.

California (-21.5) at Saint Anselm - Long ride. Easy game. This will be UGLY.

Bentley at West Chester (-17.5) - Rams kick off an easy September with a beating.

Clarion at Shippensburg - Clarion should be able to put up some points in this one but not enough.

Stonehill at Bloomsburg -- Huskies in a run-away

East Stroudsburg (+21.5) at Wagner -- Warriors stay close for a half then the lack of depth takes over

Edinboro (+35.5) at Grand Valley State -- It's a heavy number but the Fighting Scots will be way over-matched


2-Point games:

Ohio Dominican at Shepherd -- Toughest game on the board. Flip a coin.

New Haven at IUP -- I read somewhere IUP may have the most explosive offense in the world

Assumption at Kutztown -- Golden Bears may be sneaky good ... but this one won't be easy

LSU at Texas -- Longhorns getting (as usual) a lot of hype. Tigers thrive in primetime.

Lincoln at Lock Haven - At least the fans will have a pretty view from the stands...it just won't be the game on the field. Ms Taylor will hate the Haven being 1-0.

Slippery Rock (-17) at Wayne State - The Fighting Gym Teachers will enjoy their Tour de Detroit.

Gannon at Southern Connecticut State - St Thugs just not classy enough to be in Connecticut.

Lake Erie College at Mercyhurst (-24.5) - The Lake Show wins this battle of the Lake before the kickoff.

Millersville at Pace - I refuse to pick Mafrauders ever again in an OOC game until they can prove they can win one.

California (-21.5) at Saint Anselm - I guess the Little Sisters of The Poor were already booked for the All World Spocks. So St. Elsewhere was the next easiest cupcake available.

Bentley at West Chester (-17.5) - The Walk Ons In a Cake Walk.

Clarion at Shippensburg - Hopefully they still aren't basking over their win against IUP.

Stonehill at Bloomsburg - I just hope Bloom wins so it delays the inevitable whining from Blooms fans everytime they lose this season.

East Stroudsburg (+21.5) at Wagner - Will Jimmy cash the check on the way home?

Edinboro (+35.5) at Grand Valley State - Did The Groundskeeper Willies already cash the check?

Ohio Dominican at Shepherd - A week one playoff qualifier....the loser won't be that hurt for a postseason berth

New Haven at IUP - A classic rivalry renewed. Should be a permanent OOC series.

Assumption at Kutztown - Assumption was supposed to be a regional tour de force...they faded more than IUP did last year.
