It’s really simple for IUP, go back to the formula you started with. Lean on the run game, give 7 some safe throws off the play action and take some shots to 3 when you get the look you want. Play clean and you win this game by 10pts

There are plenty of places to point the finger. Brown has three drops. He did trip in the end zone, but it was still in both hands and he dropped it. Play calling on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 was inexplicable and IUP had to turn it over on downs. The unsportsmanlike penalty on Taylor when Cal would have been forced to try a long field goal was inexcusable. That led to the only Cal points. Fumbling the ball deep in the red zone when you have a good chance to take the lead there is horrendous. It’s about as bad of a half as IUP can play.Originally posted by ShoNuff View Post
I have to agree with you on how Sexton look uncomfortable. Not a good feeling for a gunslinger, who can be forced into bad throws. The offense must lend more heavily on the run game or IUP "could" be in trouble.
All that said, it’s a 7-3 game and IUP is very much in it. If they just play a clean second half they’ll win. No turnovers or stupid penalties that keep Cal drives going. Brown has to get involved, period. Here we go again at Adamson Stadium.
