WEEK 1
Clarion at Lincoln (PA): Golden Eagles played some decent ball last year but was that potential being realized or just a positive response to a new staff?
Ashland at IUP (Two-Point Game of the Week): Just like a few years ago, could these teams be more similar? Ashland has a new coach and QB, but their QB was last year's backup with some decent experience. IUP has a returning coach but with an entirely new QB. Some question marks on how well things will come together in Week 1 for both teams. Coin flip goes to home team.
Bloomsburg at Fairmont State: Bloom still has some talent. Coaching is suspect. But mediocre PSAC East should always be better than bottom tier MEC. No offense.
Gannon at Charleston (WV): Both teams have the same color scheme. LitAF sets the precedent of the Erie schools driving really far for a shellacking.
Saint Anselm at Millersville: Pulling for Morgan and the Ville this year.
Seton Hill at Wheeling: Ballsy WR for Seton Hill gets stuffed.
Pace at East Stroudsburg: I like where Jimmy T has this team going.
Mercyhurst (+31.5) at Ferris State: Hurst showed some glimmers of promise last year but this will be a LONG bus ride home.
Southern Connecticut State at Shepherd: Meet the new Shepherd, same as the old Shepherd.
Kutztown at Assumption: KU will be good this year, but so will Assumption. Coin flip goes to home team.
Newberry at Shippensburg: Newberry picked to win the SAC, which at times has been a strong conference.
Edinboro (+28.5) at Duquesne: I'll be there. Hoping I'm wrong. I'd say 1 in 5 chance Boro pulls the upset. 1 in 3 they cover the spread.
Post at Lock Haven: Why not. Win goes to Commonwealth University - Twitter.
West Chester at Bentley: Bentley should be decent this year but they had a late hire coach who at least was internal. Golden Rams should also be decent, but decent PSAC trumps decent NE10 nearly every time.
Wayne State at Slippery Rock: Rock is HYPED for this game. I expect 9,700 is the reported attendance.
West Virginia at Penn State: Things are not good in Morgantown.
BONUS
1) This game will have the lowest combined points scored: Ashland/IUP
2) This game will have the highest combined points scored: Wayne State/Slippery Rock
3) BLOWOUT CITY - This team will lose by the largest margin in Week 1: Mercyhurst
