Tough fight at Assumption University. 21-14 Assumption at the half. Kutztown defense has been good and not good at times. Same thing for the offense.

I can't stand what Lock Haven's crew is doing. The teams are starting to push and shove, and every time, they turn the camera away do a blank area of the field.

LHU 21, Post 0, 9:25 1st. 1) Post is very, very undisciplined and very, very bad. 2) Haven got 45 yards worth of PF penalties on its first possession, one of those things where a defensive lineman goes nuts and starts throwing his helmet around. 3) Haven's on a major high.

Duquesne 35, Edinboro 0, 3:28 2nd. That oughta cover the spread.

Shepherd ties it up after Myles Greer returns a punt a long way down the home sideline for a TD. 14-14

Newberry 14, Shippensburg 7, 5:34 3rd. Because when you're getting outgained 255-37, you're just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Net 8 yards rushing, and McCracken is running for his life every time he wants to throw. Massive OL fail to this point. And the cherry on top: The new PBP guy just identified McCracken as Mussina.

Donny Blaine has now thrown 2 int's today. I don't think he will ever reach that next step (I could be wrong, like per usual)

SCSU leads Shepherd 20-7–they failed to convert the XP after this recent TD. With 0:38 left in the 3rd Qtr, Shepherd only has 7 offensive points.

Kurtis Ravenel Jr. is looking like a threat. Badly needed WR1 after Kapp's departure.

Remember how Shepherd had a scary good offense over multiple QBs for a long stretch? Well, that's not happening today.

Newberry 14, Shippensburg 7, but the Raiders just blocked a punt and are at the Newberry 11. If they pull this out, it will be quite a statement for this defense.

Shepherd's defense hasn't been stellar, but the offense hasn't given them many breaks at all.

Newberry 14, Shippensburg 10, 10:04 4th. The offense manages zero yards in three plays before Jaxson Montross hits from 33.

Shepherd takes the lead 21-20 with a 1-yd TD run. It followed a ballsy (and stupid call IMO) to go for it and n 4th and 17 instead of attempting a 41-yd FG which could have pulled the Rams to 3-pts down with time. Heck of a catch by the WR at the 1-yd line. He sacrificed for his team.

Newberry's running downhill now. It's a classic case of an offense's ineptitude keeping the defense on the field until they just tire out.

Newberry just botched a third-and-1 play to give the Raiders another chance with 4:58 left. But it's hard to hold much hope that they will move 80 yards.
