As long as we aren't seeing DL or OL walk out the door, I'm still not worried about it. These 3 were freshman, and 2 of them were probably going to have a difficult time seeing the field.

They played Florida State. Lost 42-7. Open next year at Vanderbilt. That would be the Vanderbilt that beat Bama. Must play very good competition.

I'm not making stuff up. Good for her school to honor her scholarship. But I'm telling you, if a Volleyball player enters the portal, she is off the team. Not on the roster. If she transfers in the spring, she is no longer on scholarship at her previous school.

I think that's the devil in the details. How exactly the player goes about their leave from the team. Is it on bad terms and cut all ties? Probably more likely to lose that aid. Coach is understanding and wants to honor the player's best wishes, probably still receiving. There's any obligation once the student is off the roster.

Her previous school honored her scholarship for the full 23-24 academic school year. Please don't make stuff up just to post.

If they enter the portal, they are off the team. If they enter the portal, and don't come back, "they gone"...so no scholarship. Dont lose sight of what I was saying: they are no longer on the roster/team and their scholarship will be voided at the earliest appropriate time.

You’re measured by the record you post for the season, not how close you were to having a better record than you did, which was my point about Lock Haven. It’s fair for any coach or fan base to acknowledge getting close, or to talk about how a break here or there would have changed their seasons. IUP was the poster child for that this season. A bad call, bad spot, and incredibly unfortunate break on a blocked field goal attempt was the difference between 10-0 and 7-3. But, at the end of the day you end up 7-3 and watching teams you’re probably as good as or maybe even better than compete in the post season. As Tort himself has acknowledged, you can’t put yourself in a position where those types of things impact the outcome of the game.

Oh, but they sure do lol. No team is better at it.
