Well bulldozing the current stadium and rebuilding it would accomplish the old goal. The homestand is now 64 years old. It's served it's purpose. I don't know where they would build a new stadium. The south athletic fields? That would be a mistake. Most of the students probably don't even know the baseball field is over there. There is nowhere else on the campus to build it. It needs to be a tear down and rebuild.

They'd build it in the same spot. I'd assume.

I saw one drawing that had it over by the cemetery (ironic). Another had it in the same spot or very nearby.

Don't forget about Sexton tossing 100 mph heat. He did win a PSAC title.

I liked Harry Football, too. But, he missed some games.

Lenny also had a great career.

Sexton for me. Rueve and Maxwell put up big numbers, but if I needed a guy to win me a game I’d take Sexton. He also could make NFL caliber throws, and no disrespect to the others, but the zip Mak had was just different.

In fairness to Rueve though, he didn’t exactly have the best protection in front of him and that caused a lot of sacks, rushed throws, and some picks. Of the three I mentioned, he easily had the worst line in front of him.

Little things could be done to the stadium (all the track gear could be cleaned up, etc.) but beyond that you're talking millions of dollars. I just don't see them spending that kind of money right now.

I’d be thrilled if they did a few little things. A few buckets of paint would go a long way. Even would get me excited at this point.

Looking at the map from what I remember, it would have been over by the police station near the intersection of 13th and Robertshaw. Its been several years.

Sexton and it’s not even close. He beat SRU, Cal and Shepherd in the same season. Not many quarterbacks in PSAC history can claim that feat. Outplayed NFL QB in PSAC chip 19/29 with 3 TD’s and no picks ….just sayin

The tragedy for IUP is he left a year early. Originally he was going to start a job and then shortly thereafter ended up playing professionally in the European League of Football.

For those paying attention IUP's basketball game at Kutztown has been moved to Friday (originally Saturday).

One would assume this is because KU is hosting a football game Saturday.

The women will play at 1 p.m. tomorrow. The men's game will follow.

The women's team is undefeated and loaded this year. Joe has a much better team than his past two.
