Winona State vs Saginaw Valley The toughest pick for me this week. Saggy can be a mystery and I've got little data on WNU. Going with the home team.

Northern Michigan vs Minnesota Duluth I wonder when I'll pick NMU this season... there has to be at least one, but not this one.

Mercyhurst vs Ferris State No upset here. Going with that team up north.

Grand Valley vs Colorado Mines I sure wish this wasn't the opener or a road trip. This won't make or break either team's season, still one of the biggest games this season. Who wants it more and will GV's D do the job on the HH winner? Hoping that last year's experience helps GV and the crucial personnel changes negatively impact those Diggers more than the Lakers.
