Bowie State vs Davenport 21-20 toss up game. If Davenport plays like they did in the 1st half last week I think they pull it off.
Hillsdale vs Michigan Tech 34-17 as Tech rolls in its opener. Hillsdale defense is slow and soft.
Lake Erie vs Northern Michigan 24-10 could be a closer game as both teams struggled opening week.
Missouri S & T vs Wayne State 23-20 might be a surprise pick but Wayne State did look good last week against a good slippery rock team.
Northwood vs Saginaw Valley 45-10 might get even uglier as SVSU looked great and Northwood looked like Northwood.
Ferris State vs Ashland 31-10 rough opening game stretch for Ashland. Seemed like Ferris offense had 1000 yards in the 1st game.
CSU-Pueblo vs Grand Valley 28-17 and talk about tough starts! GV has another tough game and hopefully they don’t let last weeks loss linger and turn into 2 losses.

Well that loss to Mines is tough to take. I'm blaming it on the thin air (and a great Mines team.)
Bowie State vs Davenport I guess I have to accept that Dport is at least an OK team. So, they need to prove it with a home win vs. Bowie
Hillsdale vs Michigan Tech Hills lost some talent. The most the ponies have going for them is that it's their second game vs Tech's first. Still, home game and better talent will get the pups the Dub.
Lake Erie vs Northern Michigan A bit of a reach for me. It's more of hoping than knowing. Long trip by LE gets NMU the W.
Missouri S & T vs Wayne State If the Tartars can't win vs Rolla, it'll be a looong season. Wayne played OK vs the Rock, so they should pull it out Saturday.
Northwood vs Saginaw Valley This matchup can yield strange results. Not this time. The birds fly away with it.
Ferris State vs Ashland Ashland has typically played the doggies tough. And Ashland played better than I expected last week. Still, even with their at times sloppy play, the pups have too much.
CSU-Pueblo vs Grand Valley So, a close loss last week by the Lakers. CSU has improved from last season. Still, I'm thinking Pueblo would have much preferred GV to beat Mines last week. Lubbers should be rocking and an even more fired up Lake show will roll Saturday night on the bigger stage.
