He was going to be well in front of Brown befor he was pushed into him. That was not an undisciplined play, but the worst call in a game full of bad ones.
Pitt folks, stop. You know Hays is dirty, I've seen you say it before. It was no different today. NW didn't play well enough to win. However, neither did Hays. Many giftswere given, watch the game.
That was a pathetic game from an offensive perspective. Pedestrian would be a good adjective, but I wouldn't want to gi e the false impression that we moved the ball on the ground. There were some missed or blown calls, but the was poor play calling and dumb mistakes. This is when we need to be peaking and playing at a higher level, but we aren't. I hope we make it into the playoffs be ause the region isn't good and anything can happen, but we could be on the outside looking in, too.
Welp I'm all for being patient and giving people chances and such but there needs to be some changes to the offensive coaching regime. I really think the poor offensive coaching is the difference from where NW is to where they could and where we want them to be.
offense had one good drive of the game. remember when we used to have mean offensive linemen, HH may be right, they played soft. the officiating was bad, but not as bad as the playcalling and execution. defense did alright, especially considering how long they were on the field. hays punter deserves an oscar for that performance...hays did enough to win, congrats.

To be fair both Olines played passive and cowardly.
