The only reasonable explanation for TSU being ahead of MSU is the committee taking every decimal of the SOS like it's gold....as TSU is at .537 for overall SOS and MSU at .534. This is the primary criteria..so it's very important..but typically when SOS is THAT close it's viewed as a wash and the committee moves on to other criteria. No consideration to the extra games (and chances to lose a game) played against D2 opp is a bit headshaking. At what point is 10-0 better than 8-0 or 5-0, etc etc.
If the SOS is looked at as gold....then things will get interesting next week. MSU will lose less in SOS than TSU. How much....tbd.
