Experienced, proven coaches know that you win with a 7 man rotation having a dominant center, power forward and a shooting guard who can attempt incredibly difficult shots. That is what brings the crowd to their feet and keeps the boosters happy.
    Relax, Ben.

WLU is different. WLU recruits complete players. Everyone has the green light to shoot the three.

Of the top 10 players in terms of playing time, 8 shoot 35% or higher. Of these 8, 4 shoot 40% or greater.

The 3 players on the roster that are under 33% are new to the program.

Maybe it will be like Malik's 1st yr. Went from under 30% to over 40% by fixing mechanics.
be interesting to see him improve assist to turnover ratio on a better team.
He is leading rebounder for wheeling and averages 50% FG.

Confident he has played in open gym, which greatly reduces risk.

    Coppin State
    Cal Poly
    Marist
    Northeastern
    West Liberty
    Fairmont State
    Lynn
    Tampa
    Grand Valley State
Averaged 19.6 points per game this season!

Hopefully Korte works out better than Boswell.
I think they are independent events, having no cause and effect relationship with wheeling.
Who knows if transfer portal had been in effect, wlu might have landed cannady after his freshman year.
IMHO, in Boswell's case, his style was better suited for 30+ mins on the floor. Some players need that time and there was a logjam of talent at guard.
