Ahhhh...So youre saying that the PA Gov controls the PSAC! Funny, I thought PA gave considerable funding to Penn St, Pitt and Temple. Yet only the PSAC caved to the Governors wishes? Guess with soooo many PSAC schools hurting for $, they really had no choice but to give into the whims of the Governor and cancel sports.
Maybe IUP can print T-Shirts to help it's bottom line and stay in business. Slogan can be - IUP, Undefeated in Football AND Basketball 2020-21. Of course, I guess they would have to get permission from the Governor first!

I was going to say come back when football starts, then I remembered...they aint playin' THAT either!
Question, can the PSAC even be called an athletic conference when they don't actually PLAY any games???????

I think frostburg has potential long term success due to their proximity to major metro areas for recruiting.

FYI
wlu frostburg game stats
- much better ball movement. which results in late rotations and close outs by defense. When this occurs talented players don't have to take off balance or contested shots.
- seven players in double figures and 9 players logged 18 or more minutes with a max of 22 minutes.
- over 40% threes shooting as a team due to having feet set and good mechanics. When threes are weighted it is the equivalent of making 68% two point shots
- 1.4 points per possession almost guarantees victory.
- great unselfishness - 32% of possessions had assists. Compared to fsu 4%. Teamwork beats one on one.
- playing fast but nearly error free as only 18% of possessions were turnovers. Fsu was 26%.
- big improvenent: wlu continued to share ball in second half despite a 30+ point lead at half. They wanted to play toward their standard rather than revert to one one one against a tired opponent.

Shooter gon'a shoot...that's what shooters do! But I would hope for a little more awareness about his shooting stroke on a given night. He was by far the biggest 3-taker against Fairmont and he struggled. I'd hope that he would realize that he didn't have the stroke that night and drive to create OR kick to another player. As a coach you never tell your leading player to stand down but I guess you have to just trust that he will understand how he is playing in a given game and make adjustments.
