When Hardy picked up two fouls, we're basically left with two inexperienced freshmen ball handlers. Not much of a rotation. Mercyhurst, as I said, is very good. No. 3 nationally? We'll see.

I've been rather impressed with Rashon Johnson working out front. He's not Biss, but he's one of the best jucos they've had.

As last night's game advanced, I got a decidedly different read on that.

I don't think Ship would have beaten these guys WITH Biss. They were extremely quick, attacked the bucket and disrupted Ship's offensive sets.

No. 3 nationally does not shock me at this point.

Looks like neither of Seton Hill's big guys played last night (Moon and Paola). If they don't play tonight Kutztown should slaughter them. Bears will win either way, but KU's bigs will have a field day without those two.

Simpson is a cry baby punk!

Game had several technicals so it was brewing. Watched the last 10 mins and OT.

Simpson got T'd with 3 minutes to go after essentially dragging a guy down to the floor after they trapped him.

End of OT, Boro trey to tie misses and clock expires. Kid from LH (who avoided an obvious tech at end of regulation for slamming the ball) gets up in Simpson's face and claps 5-6 times inches from his nose. Simpson pushed him. Then got pushed. Then the officials and coaches stepped in. Cleary was fired up and neither team shook hands.

Quite the ending.

LH is 4-0 but neither team is too hot. Mercyhurst will smoke them today.

LH had a large student group sit right under the basket. They rode Simpson hard. As we've seen, he can bring some of it on.

Interesting item was the LH broadcast has no announcers. I actually liked it better.

And, of course, they at least have a video. Which, naturally, is better than the only school in the league without one.
