Don't know that 6 ppg /4 rpg in 20 mpg is going to attract a lot of takers but maybe he can relocate closer to Houston.

Hard to say. He played as a true freshman and started 15 games. True freshman almost always have major growing pains. Most stink being honest. They just aren't ready for the jump.

I remember him. They listed him at 6'7" and 210 pounds. He was a legit 6'7" but maybe weighed 170 lbs.

Two years later ... if he hit the weights hard, etc., he could be up 20-some pounds or more.

      He's a loss for them.

      • Dolan Waldo to IUP. Class of 2022, Bethel Park HS. Has Joe ever taken someone this early? Must be talented.

He's talked about that (not getting in to the early signings) on and off over the years on the radio with Jack but never to any great depth.

You can certainly say it's worked very well (Malik, Armoni, etc.). But, you have to wonder who he's missed out on, too, by doing so.

I guess, that said, this is still a 'verbal' at this point. Waldo's stock is on the rise. Hopefully they hang on to him until he can sign the dotted line. I wouldn't worry about losing him to a D2 at this point but you never know what will happen when the D1 offers show up.

There's another guard in the WPIAL (call it a hunch) that IUP is going to offer in the very near future.

On the surface, I did a double take when I saw this post in the Twitter world. But, Marcin may actually be a good fit in the Mercyhurst system. UPJ plays that modified blend of Norman Dale's Hickory offense mixed in with a somewhat modern pace.

He's a big kid and should actually fit in nicely into the slower pace up in Erie.

            • Mercyhurst has signed 6'7" SF Ciaran Sandy (Holy Cross transfer).

Looks like it came down to Mercyhurst and Gannon.

Gary needed two nice ones. He lost two huge ones.

It doesn't break my heart he left Mercyhurst. That's two D2 guys the Gophers took this year.

                          • Slip gets a well-traveled transfer, Frankie Hughes, a 6-4 guard originally from Cleveland. Started at Missouri, then transferred to Duquesne, then transferred to San Diego.

Imagine how many credits he's lost with all those transfers.
