587 miles for a 5:00 PM Tuesday 11/16 evening game ??? Didn't even bother to schedule WBB which would have been interesting since Mark Swasey is coaching the FPU Ravens again. Jess Strom was his assistant and took over when he was fired 6 games into the 11-12 season. His second time in Rindge NH began in the 19-20 season with an 11-15 record.

    Some non-conference games surfacing:

A-B and Notre Dame will play at the Slippery Rock Tip-Off Weekend.

SRU also has games scheduled against Wheeling, PSU Greater Allegheny and (at) Charleston.

    Franklin Pierce will visit California

IUP's only confirmed non-conference game is Virginia State (KCAC)

That will be an intriguing game.

Cal's starting unit will be very strong. The depth will be an issue.
That should be a great game! UC plays a half court game so depth should not be an issue. I think McManus is back in the post. They got a d1 transfer in kobe lam from u. of Denver, who can cause matchup problems.

Perhaps apologies are in order from several of the previous posters?
Congrats to Mr. Hughes, may he live long and prosper !! However, in defense of those of us who began moving our mouths before our brains were in gear, his story as a nomadic student-athlete is close to unique. I would happily be wrong if it wasn't the case, but it usually is.

The oddness of student/athletes like this is they're not talented enough to have hope of a pro career of any sort nor are they making progress toward a degree that they can use in some career. They seem to be stuck in the Peter Pan universe refusing to grow up and trying to wing it through life. Hopefully that isn't the case here but it certainly feels like it. Time will tell.

Good thing for colleges about basketball is that the season runs through both semesters so unlike football you almost always have players enrolled all year.
