    3. Pegram is solid. I wish he'd have came to IUP. Simpson ... see No. 1
    4. The only objection is Malik has a big TO number. No doubt ... He can sure take over a game -- on both ends.

I'll say this, if you were holding a draft to build a real team (not a stat team) ... the first pick is either Cobo or Malik. And, that selection isn't an easy one.
If I'm building a "real" team... Malik and Cobo are my first two. Simpson doesn't even cross my mind. I'm not even certain I take Till and the baggage.

    3) Pegram is a very good player and starts on most PSAC teams, Simpson doesn't even come off the bench at IUP or other PSAC teams. I don't see it with Simpson.
    4) Malik Miller making a case for POY.

Here's my take on the leading candidates for the All-West team (granted, still several games to go):

    POY: Jacobo Diaz (IUP)

    First Team:

    Jacobo Diaz (IUP)
    Micah Till (SRU)
    Malik Miller (IUP)
    Trevor Blondin (SH)
    Jason Massey (Mercyhurst)

    Second Team

    Dante Lombardi (IUP)
    Josh Wise (UPJ)
    Nathan Davis (SH)
    John Paul Kromka (UPJ)
Jaryn Simpson (Edinboro) or Brent Pegram (Cal)

Agree. The GU radio announcer was calm. Not sure about the webcast announcer. I haven't seen a call like that overturned in such a late, crucial time of the game. I think that the overturn was the right call.

Reilly was pretty animated afterward, and through most of the extra session, but that is to be expected. I don't think that any coach would be given the situation.

These things have a way of evening out ... Gannon caught a nice break at Edinboro last year when Zay Jackson was fouled at the buzzer and hit three FT's to send the game into OT. Edinboro got the break this year when they sent the game into OT. Both teams still had to win the overtime session.

Gannon also had two straight empty possessions in at the end of regulation ... could have put the game away and the overturned travel wouldn't have meant anything.

Boro got that big road win in the Hammermill ... Staunch went for 13 points and 10 boards.

    Scots aren't dead yet.

Keep in mind, they have Clarion upcoming but also IUP, SRU and Mercyhurst.

We'll see if that 'goon' can carry the load.
