Talk about transfers, Urbana will have 80+ transfers on the football side. If there is a football season, Gannon had Urbana as their first game. Urbana's HC coached at IUP where he was offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for two seasons. "Haines helped IUP collect 15 wins during his tenure, including a 9-2 mark and No. 24 national ranking during the 2013 campaign."

Urbana's 9 had no choice but to leave...the Cal 9 CHOSE to leave!Originally posted by IUPalum View Post
Urbana closing sucks, Cal losing 9 players is hilarious!!!
No body seems to be willing to speculate as to what DS is doing that is driving players off. Interesting...we seem to be willing to speculate about almost everything else on this board!!!

DS kept his core (mostly). Added Benedict Arnold for a year. He'll be fine this year. Other than House ... he didn't really lose anything.Originally posted by boatcapt View Post

Wow, do I hope there is a season. We'll have pretty-boy-boz mentally gone before tip. Proof? Ask Josh Wise or Brent Pegram ... the KCAC's two favorite whipping boys.
Armoni on Boz for a night ... Boz gonna want to transfer for a fourth time. Just sayin'.Last edited by IUPbigINDIANS; 04-26-2020, 07:28 PM.

As much as he might want to be "the man," I'm not sure that's a role that fits Boswell. He was at his best at WJU when he had protection from Highsmith and Moseh. When working against a team's 3rd best defender, he was a nightmare. But working against a team's top defender night in and night out . . . I'm just not sure that's going to be good for him. Being a cog (and an important one at that) in the WLU machine was perhaps a better role for him (at least as an outsider looking in). Clearly he didn't see it that way. We'll see how things end up in Cal next year.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View Post

But yes, he's a player that's easy for opposing fans to hate. I imagine the KCAC will have a field day with him.

Cal had seven players earn starts last year, those same seven all earned 20+ minutes per game and were also the only players to average more than 10 MPG. Of those seven, four are transfering. I would say about any team that had four of its top seven players transfer in one year, that is pretty distressing and much more dire that just end of the bench guys that realized they would never see playing time opting to leave.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View Post
