Went to St John Paul the Great HS with VULCANS D.J. Slaughter who has worked his way into the #7 spot on DS roster with 14.3 mpg. CAL U could be a good landing spot if he's been in touch with his former WOLVES teammate.

WV Wesleyan just lost Jaylen Hibbitt to the portal. The 6'6" freshman averaged 19.2 ppg and 6.1 rebounds.

Very good player on a bad team.......big hit for Wesleyan....a team that doesn't need hits.

My bet is he lands on the Hilltop. He'd fit in to their system well.

Stats indicate he has potential as a shooter of 3s-.388% and FTs-.886 but not a PG. Possible nice fit for a team that needs instant offense.

Per the KU site he's played RSFR and RSSO seasons but his RSJR season was missed entirely due to injury. So it seems he may have well finished his degree but he still has two yrs of eligibility.

Big plus for whomever gets him but may be better at SG since his assists were #19 in the league. GU site lists him as a RSSO so probably 2 seasons to go.
Another possible issue is as a Jamaican the Erie climate, possibly the northern US, may not be his next first choice.
