Looks like Farmville and California (PA) are about the same size towns.
Other entertainment options Pittsburgh is 40 miles from the Valley.....pro sports, concerts, restaurants. Farmville is 60 miles from Richmond ......????

He'd be better off at Edinboro.

I had him pegged for the PSAC. I was expecting Gannon or IUP.

In all seriousness, he is a solid D2 candidate but some people's ego's are to big to admit it.

                • I figured he'd go D2 as well for his last 2 years. But I'm sure he'll be starting at BFE University

                  • I know this is not news to anyone as we have discussed this before. But there was a report out this weekend that approximately 60% of those who entered the portal from a D1 or D2 school have not found a home yet.

                      It was similar last year.

That should change (some) as the last of the Covid era players are finally washed out. After this upcoming season we should see less 27-year-olds still playing D2 basketball lol.

Maybe that style of play will suit him better. We saw glimpses of real talent here, he just couldn’t put it together consistently.

At long last, the 'player to be named later' in the Shawn Dyer trade.

He's back up to 6'5" on Verbal Commits. LOL. He typically shrinks to about 6'2" during the actual season, however.

Stewart is an interesting player. Word was he and Joe didn't see eye to eye. You're correct ... we did see some glimpses. We also saw him completely vanish for multiple-game stretches.

He sat on the wire for a long time. I'd guess he will be a bench guy at WL. On a normal Joe team, he'd have probably been the 7th or 8th guy. He had to play heavy minutes last year out of injury-forced necessity.

I could see him being a nice shooter off the bench. He's extremely streaky, however.

WLU cares little about players height. Remember, we call 6'3" guys forwards and 6'5" guys guards!!! If he can shoot from outside and perhaps drive to the rim, he'll find a home on the Hilltop. Maybe not in the starting 5...but in the second platon which should get him 15+ per game.
