For comparison purposes Grand Valley is .420. While KPI is certainly not the only factor and that is why you play the game, it is a pretty good representation of how good a team is.

Curious what you will think after watching the Elite Eight games next Tuesday.
Doesn't matter! You can't go into a do or die game thinking your opponent is weak.

You most certainly can't. But I will stand by my position that IUP has the easiest first round game, and Colorado Mesa has the hardest.

        • Well apparently NCAA just sticks with the same seeding/times with everything.

            It's always been like that.

I've lost track of what this conversation is actually about but believe me ... we'll be more than happy to tell you that you were right if IUP blows out this team.

I'll be happy if they win by 1 point.

Sure has been. One thing about the NCAA, they are resistant to change.

I assume the games will be on ESPN+?

                    No doubt.

Keep in mind IUP couldn't really play defense. They were only up a point so they couldn't even come close to fouling and putting somebody on the line.

The part that drove me nuts was after the three-pointer hit, they had to stop the game (clock) and review (the clock). That happens all too often. It essentially gave WSSU a free timeout.

The IUP player hit a beautiful shot on that winning three pointer. They left her wide open..can’t win doing that…

                      • Both teams handled that final 5.8 seconds poorly. WSSU needed at least one pass to get the ball down the court quicker, or for a catch and shoot opportunity. As it was, it didn’t look like that girl was giving up the ball come hell or high water. IUP never stopped her dribble and allowed her to get all the way to the foul line, which is also inexcusable. To IUPbigINDIANS post though, they were afraid to breath on anyone the way that game was called. That long-haired ginger lady might be the worst official I’ve ever seen. Just awful.

I think Ellie may have gotten a finger on the last shot. I thought that live and it looks like it on the replay. From one angle the shot looks both short and offline to the right. If it wasn’t touched, the shooter just short-armed it a tad probably just guessing how much time was on the clock at that point.

I know, others had mentioned IUP possibly getting a prime time slot due to locality.

I know Holy Family is giving up the lowest points of the remaining teams. I also know they played an easier schedule than Colorado Mesa and Grand Valley.

                            • If anybody is going today ... leave early. Duquesne isn't 'fan friendly' when it comes to getting in there.

                                Is anywhere in Pittsburgh?

Seems like it has been forever since there has been any D2 games. Finally getting back to game on.
